Dr. ADEYINKA JOSEPH AIYEYEMI

Dr. Adeyinka Joseph Aiyeyemi was born on the 5th of August in Lagos, a native of Oka Akoko of the Akoko South West local government area of Ondo State. He had his elementary education at St. Mathias Catholic Primary School Lafiaji Lagos and attended the Federal Government College Sokoto He proceeded to University of Ibadan for his tertiary education where he obtained his MBBS degree in 1995. After his internship at the University College Hospital Ibadan in 1996, he went for his National Youth Service Corpsat the NKST Comprehensive Health Centre Ikyobo Aper Aiku Local Government Area in Benue State which he completed in 1997.
He obtained the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons in Obstetrics and Gynecology with biasinurogy naecology at the completion of his residency training at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital in 2007. He was appointed a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologists’ at the Federal Medical Centre Owo same year. He became the Head of Clinical Services Federal Medical Centre Owo in 2022. He has served in different leadership capacity and in various committee including Chairman Medical and Dental Consultant Association of Nigeria, Federal Medial Centre, Owo Welfare Scheme, Chairman Christian Medical and Dental Association Owo, Chairman Federal Medical Centre Owo Chapel, Provincial Coordinator, Junior Church RCCG Ondo3, Chairman Capital Project Allocation Committee, Chairman Water Monitoring Committee, Chairman Ad-Hoc Committee on establishment of nursing school in Federal Medical Centre Owo, Member Staff Audit Committee, Member Nottingham Collaboration Committee.
Dr. Aiyeyemi is an astute clinician and post graduate examiner for Primary, Membership and Fellowship of the West Africa College of Surgeon in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He belongs to both local and international professional associations among which are Medical and Dental Consultant Association of Nigeria and Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria.
